L'Oreal Ideal Fresh Face Wash Review

The love I have for foamy cleansers is well known from previous posts (read said post here) and until now my love was saved for the Avon Solutions Foaming Cleanser. But after two bottles of this love were used and done, I decided to move on and find something new.

That's when L'Oreal Ideal Fresh came to my life. It has the same technology as the Avon one, as it is a clear liquid in the bottle that comes out as a velvety foam, with a rich and soft consistency and a citrusy scent. I massaged it gently on my skin and it took away all my makeup - mascara and lipstick included - and left my skin feeling clean and fresh. As it is aimed for normal to combination skin it doesn't leave a dry feeling to the skin, that most cleansers for combination to oily skin tend to leave. Even though I have oily skin, there's nothing worse than feeling your skin dry and fragile - I like clean, but not SO clean.

Overall it is a great cleanser and it's greatly paired with the Ideal Fresh Toner I've been using for quite some time now. So, thumbs up L'Oreal..

Eat - Shop - Repeat

In this week's eat - shop - repeat (oh yeah it has come to stay) we're dealing with my problems - once again.
Problem no1 : I can't go past an H&M without going in - and buying something
Problem no2 : I'm a sucker for anything sickly sweet - preferably drinkable - and if it says Starbucks on, even better!!

EAT : Or as I said above, drink!! I have been a loyal subject of the Starbucks realm for many years, but I hadn't tried heaven until my darling dear Bethany Mota shared the Cotton Candy Frappuccino (click for the video) with us mere commoners. It's a  vanilla cream frappuccino with raspberry syrup - and some drops of unicorn tears apparently - and it's my new favourite addiction.

SHOP : I went past an H&M and the rest is , as they say, history!! This time I went for skincare and stocked up in some facemasks (link). I tried to have some variety in my picks so I can have (and also give you) a better opinion. I got four to begin with and if they are as good as I've heard, then I'll be back for the whole selection. Stay tuned this week for a post on my experience with them.

+ Bethany also made a video recreating the Cotton Candy Frappuccino! So for anyone interested heeeere it is!!

Fructis Oil To The Rescue

If you like to change your hair -colour, length, style- all the time, then you are my kind of girl!
I, in particular, like to change my hair colour pretty often. From a natural brunette to a bold ombre and more recently to a plumy-purply brown!!

Therefor, my hair are severely damaged and with very dry ends. As a girl who likes her long hair and is not yet ready to chop them off, I searched and searched for an alternative.

And Garnier Fructis came to the rescue. Two hair oils, the Miraculous Oil and the Goodbye Damage Split Ends Serum are my saviors.
I apply the Miraculous Oil everytime I wash my hair when they are damp and after they dry I apply the serum to the ends of my hair for extra nourishing. In between washes if my ends feel dry I apply some more of the serum and it makes them feel soft and revitalised.

If your hair are like mine, then give this duo a chance, as it will probably save your life - or at least hair!!

Nails For Spring - from yellow to blue

L-R : ERRE DUE exclusive (120), AVON Speed Dry+ (lime splatter), Berevis Paris, Petit Bordeau (51), Sixteen Cosmetics (475), ERRE DUE last minute (49), SEPHORA (picnic in the park), Beauty Line Cosmetics (404), SEPHORA (green tea time), SEPHORA (vintage sweater)

+ me!!

I'm trying in any way that I can to bring some colour back in my life, after all the greys and the burgundies of the winter. The transition started with a nude nail polish (as you can see here) and now is progressing with every colour from yellow to blue that I can find in my stash. From a pale - almost white - yellow all the way to a deep blue, with a middle stop for my favourite mints and greens, this post can give you a great inspiration if you want a pop of colour and a touch of spring on your nails!!

For those who love their pinks and corals and oranges, please don't be discouraged, as I'm saving those ones for later!!
