Lazy Sunday Mornings

Alternative Title : Not getting out of bed!

After a 4-day trip, a serious case of overeating and some "missing my bed" moments, I decided that this Sunday I wouldn't get out of bed no matter what!

I broke this promise only for the sake of eating (what a surprise!) and went to the kitchen. Praline spread, some bread and I'm ready to go!! I wanted to make some tea, so I hovered a little over my tea collection -don't judge me people!! The winner for this morning being Lipton Strawberry Cupcake green tea and yes, it tastes as delicious as it sounds!

Back to bed, cozied up and ready to finally finish reading my L'OFFICIEL and catch up with some of my favourite blogs that I have seriously neglected this week.

What is your perfect Sunday morning?!

+ here's a little something that got stuck in my head all week - enjoy!

The Vans Project

I've been trying to finish this project for the last two weeks. It doesn't seem much but for some reason (me, being useless in crafts maybe) it took longer than expected.

I wanted to transform my Vans for quite a while, as I had them since I was 16 years old and was a little over them. I went on and purchased some Marabu Textil Fabric paint in citrone and purple and a tub of Marabu Textil Plus in white - I went a little crazy with it, it would be more than ok with the small container.

First I covered the shoes with two layers of the white paint - or as much is needed for the black not to peek through - and then I  let them air dry until the fabric was no longer sticky. Then I proceeded in painting them in the colours I wanted. It took two to three layers of each to make it vibrant and opaque and in between I had to let the shoes dry completely. The last step is to iron the fabric over a thin cloth so it becomes permanent.

The ending result is just perfect for me, as I feel like I just got new shoes (yay)!! The colours are just perfect for spring and I cannot wait to wear them!!

Spring Is All About The Florals

It's all about the Florals

Last time I checked, March is considered to be a Spring month.. therefore my obsession with florals is absolutely called for!! Spring is all about the florals anyway..
Whether it is a skirt, a little top, a sheer kimono (totally on trend - if I may say) or a full-on maxi dress, floral is a must have print for this season. It's a way to brighten your mood and your style and prepare yourself - and others - for the bright, bright, Sunshiny days that are about to come!!!
So what are you waiting for?! Floral it up!!

p.s. Have you noticed my new obsession with polyvore?! It's becoming my thing..

Eat - Shop - Repeat

However hectic my week might be, I will always find time for lunch with my friends and some shopping - even if it's the smallest thing.

EAT : A walk around the centre of Athens - especially Ermou street - isn't complete if you don't take some time to go grab a bite to eat in one of all those great little places hidden in church squares. Of course I'm referring to Agia Irini Square, THE hotspot these days. Gina and I went to School Pizza Bar, a great place with even greater pizza!! This time (oh yes we've been there before) we tried the chicken pizza and we'll surely go back to taste each and every one from the menu!!

SHOP : Quick tip about me - I can't go past an H&M without going in and potentially getting something. This time I went small and got a simple V necklace and a cream color hair-bow. It isn't much, but I love this minimal necklace that can be worn everyday on its own or stacked. Now about the bow.. I admit.. it's a new addiction of mine!! Bows can turn any hairstyle into something great and of course, they're as girly as can be!!

So how did you spend your weekend?!
